Managed by "Moonlight Shipping Pte Ltd" at Singapore (subsidiary of "Sembawang
Towing Co"), a "work-company" from Wijsmuller, which was managed by CW
Marine (also Wijsmuller sub) to service the storage tanker ESSO MERCIA
(87002/1968) off West Malaysia. When this was finished, RIBUT was sent
to Ras Tanura
1983: To "Wijsmuller Salvage BV", serving in the Persian Gulf during
Iran-Irak war (1983-1988)
during Gulf War transferred to a consortium between "Wijsmuller Salvage
BV", "M.C. Marine Inc" (Monaco) and "Albwardy Marine Engineering" (Dubai)
1985 -21/01: hit on the bow by an Exocet missile off Ras Tanura (SAU),
repaired at Dubai
1988: consortium ended at end of Gulf War, RIBUT left the Persian Gulf
1989: To "Wijsmuller Offshore Contractors BV" for a renovation project
at Arzew (ALG)
1990: returned to "Wijsmuller Salvage BV" after the failing of the Arzew
