ZBYSZKO, SEDZIWOJ)

1949: Built by "Koninklijke Mij. De
Schelde" at Vlissingen (NLD) (YN 266)
1949: delivered to the Polish Government, for service on the Odra canal 1965: withdrawn from service, served as a floating boiler on the shipyard "Zegluga na Odrze" (The Odra Navigation) 1975: for steam delivery at a lock and weir building site on the Laba in the Czech Republic 1982: attemps in convertion to an icebreaker failed 1986: laid up at Osobowice 199x: first preservation attempt by "Odatrans Co" and the "Foundation of open Museam of Technology" at Wroclaw 1998: final preservation by the "Foundation of open Museam of Technology" at Wroclaw (with support of the "Office for the Study and documentation of Technological Heritage" and "Odatrans Co") 2004: still in existence |
